Hi! I’m Nastia, an award-winning journalist based in Oakland, California. I tell the stories of artists who are changing the world.

I’ve been an editor and reporter at KQED Arts & Culture, San Francisco’s NPR and PBS affiliate, since 2017. I also contribute to NPR Music.

Online, on air and in podcast feeds, I cover music, LGBTQ+ culture and how art helps fuel grassroots movements for change.

I also host and co-produce events where music, culture and conversation meet.
